Our Therapist

Fraser has a background in Community Music and ASN provision. He studied Music Therapy at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, graduating with a MSc Music Therapy.
His training and approach is rooted in psychodynamic theory.
Fraser has experience facilitating music therapy sessions in a range of settings, including schools, care homes, other social care settings and foster homes.
Fraser specialises in playing flute and violin alongside maintaining a high proficiency in the other instruments available in the therapy space. He utilised his training in different styles of music and music technology to offer clients as much flexibility and freedom to explore as they wish.
Fraser is a member of the British Association for Music Therapy and is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (Registration Number: AS018334).
Prior to training in music therapy Fraser studied BMus(hons) Community Music at the University of Aberdeen graduating with First Class Honours.
Outside the therapy space Fraser enjoys hillwalking with his wife, cooking for friends, and getting to gigs when he can. Travelling throughout Fife facilitating Music Therapy also allows him time to get through a lot of audiobooks and podcasts while on the road.

To provide music therapy to those most in need and to promote emotional and physical wellbeing in every part of society in Scotland while bridging gaps in relationships created by poverty, illness, abuse and any other injustice.
